In addition to being co-founder of Portfolio Effect, Stephen Quinn is CEO and Managing Director of Ratner BioMedical Group LLC. Prior to that, he was a Senior Financial Analyst at Microsoft following a stint as Test Manager for the Data Mining and Analysis Services teams with a team size of up to 28 engineers. Stephen has 16 years of experience in the software industry and has gone public with three different technology start-up companies in the Bay Area. Stephen received his Master of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University, Chico and his Bachelor degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Stephen earned the MBA degree from the University of Washington, Seattle and co-authored a book on Business Intelligence software with Siva Harinath, Ph.D. of Microsoft Corporation.
